Apple launches iPhone 17 Air with a thin profile and 18 MP front lens

Apple on Tuesday (September 9, 2025) introduced a new family member to the iPhone 17 series with the launch of iPhone 17 Air. It succeeds the Plus variant Apple used to sell.

Apple iPhone 17 Air has a 6.5 inch LTPO screen with a dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, peak brightness to 3,000 nits.

iPhone 17 Air has a 5.6mm thin profile and claims a weight of 165 grams.

Apple iPhone 17 Air run a A19 Pro chipset and iOS 26. It will have the Apple and Visual Intelligence features as well. Interestingly, iPhone 17 Air only supports eSIM.

Apple iPhone 17 Air sports a 48 MP main camera and an 18 MP front camera.

Apple iPhone 17 Air will be available at ₹1,19,900. It will be available from September 19.
