Bajaj Finserv has rebranded its insurance businesses as Bajaj General Insurance and Bajaj Life Insurance, launching the campaign “100% Bajaj. Made in India. Made for India. Made by India” to signal its commitment to policyholders, business partners, and expanding insurance penetration. The group has received regulatory approvals from the ROC, CCI, and IRDAI to acquire Allianz SE’s 26% stake in its insurance joint ventures, taking its ownership to 100% once the acquisition completes. The insurance arms were earlier known as Bajaj Allianz reflecting the joint ownership with the German insurer. The rebranding follows the exit of Allianz which has now partnered Jio Financial Services to explore joint ventures in insurance.Sanjiv Bajaj, chairman & MD, said, “The rebranding goes beyond a mere change of name. It brings to life Bajaj Finserv’s vision of giving wings to every Indian to fulfil their aspirations while remaining financially protected. At the core, lies our belief in building responsible businesses that are ‘Made in India. Made for India. Made by India’.” Bajaj General and Life Insurance have served customers for nearly 25 years, offering life, health, and asset protection solutions, while increasingly leveraging technology and AI to improve customer engagement. The joint venture agreements with Allianz SE will end once the first tranche of acquisition, at least 6.1%, is completed, and Allianz will move from promoter to investor status. Bajaj Finserv reported consolidated revenue of Rs 1,33,822 crore for FY2024-25 and serves over 308 million customers through a diversified financial services portfolio.
