Ever since the song Chuttamalle, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor from Devara Part 1 released, it has received an incredible response. Many fans and creators grooved to the song and posted videos online. Months after the movie’s release, the hype around the song is still high. In the latest, Janhvi Kapoor shared a video of two girls dancing to the song at a college event.
Their innovative dance caught Janhvi’s attention and he seemed quite impressed. Sharing the clip on her Instagram story, she wrote, “You guys always come up with the most beautiful performances on this song.”

Janhvi Kapoor is all set to charm audiences in Tushar Jalota’s upcoming romantic comedy Param Sundari, starring opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Kerala’s serene backwaters, the film follows a North Indian boy and a South Indian girl who fall in love despite their stark cultural differences, sparking a humorous, chaotic and heartfelt rollercoaster of a romance.
The teaser, which dropped a few weeks ago, introduces Sidharth as the classic boy next door from a bustling city. The story soon transitions to the calm and culturally rich setting of Kerala, where Janhvi Kapoor steps in — exuding grace in a traditional avatar. Together, their chemistry promises a cinematic treat packed with laughter, emotional highs and plenty of twisty turns.
Adding to the magic is the soul-stirring background score featuring the iconic voice of Sonu Nigam, setting the tone for what is already one of the year’s most eagerly awaited music albums.
Param Sundari is all set to hit theatres on July 27 and with its winning blend of love, laughs and culture clash, it’s shaping up to be a rom-com you won’t want to miss.
Apart from this, Janhvi also worked in Homebound premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, is set in rural North India and addresses issues such as ambition, camaraderie and the quest for respect. Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa are also part of the film and play two childhood friends aspiring to join the police force, a path that tests their friendship and character.
