Google announced that the Video Overviews feature in its NotebookLM offering is now available in 80 languages, meaning that more people around the world who use the AI note-taking platform can get video presentations of their content in their preferred language.
The tech giant added that it was also “significantly upgrading” all Audio Overviews to be more comprehensive and in-depth.
Video Overviews in Google’s NotebookLM were introduced in July.

“Whether you’re a student reviewing hours of lecture footage to prepare for a final exam, a researcher sifting through a dense academic presentation for key findings, or a curious mind trying to learn a new skill from a complex DIY tutorial, Video Overviews provides a concise, easy-to-understand video in your preferred language,” said Google in a blog post.
The updates are available for all users starting today and will roll out globally over the coming week.
Furthermore, Google announced that Audio Overviews in over 80 languages would move from short-form to full-length formats to deliver the same depth, structure, and nuance as the company’s English Audio Overviews. However, shorter highlights can still be generated, per Google’s blog post.
