Here’s the thing: castor oil is thick. Like, really thick. If you just dump it on your scalp, you’ll end up with sticky hair that takes three shampoos to wash out. The trick is to dilute and apply it correctly.
Mix it up – Combine 1 tablespoon of castor oil with 1–2 tablespoons of lighter oil (like coconut, olive, or jojoba). This makes it easier to spread.
Warm it slightly – Heat it just a little so it feels nice and soothing when massaging.
Massage well – Apply to your scalp and massage for 5 minutes. Don’t rush this part! The massage itself helps circulation.
Leave it on – Ideally, keep it overnight (cover your pillow with a towel). If that feels too much, leave it on for at least 1-2 hours.
Wash properly – Use a mild shampoo and make sure you rinse it out well.
Do this 2-3 times a week, and you’ll start seeing less hair fall within a few weeks.
