Now, amid their romance rumours, a video of Mrunal singing and vibing to a song from Dhanush’s upcoming film is going viral on social media. The actress shared the clip in July on her Instagram stories, and she is seen singing along to the track ‘Enna Sugam’ from Dhanush and Nithya Menen starrer ‘Idli Kadai’. The song was released by the makers on Dhanush’s birthday in July. Now, Mrunal’s video has taken social media by storm, and has further added fuel to their relationship rumours.

The viral video shared by Mrunal a few days ago shows her seated inside a car, addressing her fans and sharing how excited she was for the release of her film ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’. She asked fans to book tickets for the movie if they didn’t already. As she addressed her fans, Dhanush’s song ‘Enna Sugam’ from Idli Kadai played softly in the background inside the car. Mrunal then sang along to a few lines and appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the track. The moment seemed casual at the time, but with dating rumours swirling, fans are reading between the lines. Enna Sugam is the first single from Dhanush’s upcoming film ‘Idli Kadai’, which also stars Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, R. Parthiban, P. Samuthirakani and Rajkiran.
Mrunal Thakur And Dhanush Relationship Rumours
Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush’s dating rumours emerged a few days ago. On August 1, a viral video captured the actor holding Mrunal’s hand at her birthday party. Adding fuel to the fire, just hours earlier, Dhanush was also seen flying to Mumbai to attend the special screening of Son of Sardaar 2, which stars Mrunal alongside Ajay Devgn. A video from the event, shared widely on X (formerly Twitter), captured the duo in conversation.
As per a post on Reddit, the duo even has a joint playlist on Spotify. A source exclusively told News18 Showsha that Mrunal and Dhanush’s closeness and bond caught the eyes of onlookers even during the premiere of Kajol’s last theatrical release, Maa, in June in Mumbai.
Reportedly, Mrunal’s busy schedule down South is what brought her and Dhanush together. A well-placed source told News18 Showsha, “Yes, it’s true that they are dating. But it’s too new and they’ve no plans of making their relationship official before the public or the media. At the same time, they’re unfazed about going out and about and being spotted. Friends are truly rooting for them as they’re quite similar and compatible when it comes to their values, choices and thoughts.”
