Tara Sutaria seems to have addressed, albeit indirectly, her much-talked-about breakup with Aadar Jain. In a podcast interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, the actress was asked to reflect on the lessons she learned from her 20s, especially when it came to love. Without naming anyone, Tara gave a graceful response that seemingly touched upon her past relationship.
“I think I was also getting to know myself. Like all of us are in our 20s, you’re figuring so much out in your 20s. I’m not entirely sure that I think that there were mistakes. If I’m to talk about myself, I’m not entirely sure that there were mistakes that were made. I’m very proud of everything that’s happened in my 20s. And I go to sleep at night with a lot of dignity and pride because like I said, I know what I stood for and stand for personally first, and of course then professionally,” she said.
While Tara kept it dignified, Aadar Jain recently found himself in the middle of controversy. During his pre-wedding festivities with Alekha Advani, a video surfaced in which he said, “I have always loved her and I have always wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time-pass… I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”
The clip went viral and sparked criticism, with many believing it was a disrespectful dig at Tara. Aadar later told Times of India that his comment was taken out of context and slammed those “spreading false narratives.” He added, “Out of respect, everyone has been silent about it… It’s unfair for her (Alekha) and her family, me and my family, her (Tara) and her family.”
Following this, Tara’s mother seemingly took a veiled swipe at Aadar through an Instagram Story that read, “If your boyfriend/husband ever says anything disrespectful to you… he shouldn’t be saying it to you.”
