Day 3 of Lakme Fashion Week 2025 was bursting with energy, glamour, and creativity. The runway came alive with a mix of traditional grace, contemporary flair, and even cosmic inspiration. Designers like Pankaj & Nidhi, Mahima Mahajan, and Payal Jain unveiled visionary collections, while celebrity showstoppers including Mrunal Thakur, Tabu, Vaani Kapoor, Shalini Passi, Vishal Jethwa, and Sahher Bambba lit up the stage with their presence. Here’s a look at the standout moments from the night.
Mrunal Thakur
Mrunal Thakur dazzled as the showstopper for Pankaj & Nidhi’s Araquis collection, which celebrated empowerment through a futuristic lens. She wore a sculpted golden bodice paired with a sleek black skirt featuring a daring thigh-high slit — a striking fusion of regal elegance and modern edge. The look perfectly embodied the collection’s theme of warrior-like strength and celestial grace.
Tabu
The ever-graceful Tabu walked for Itrh’s Noor collection, exuding timeless bridal charm in a deep emerald green anarkali. Intricate embroidery and shimmering zari work added to the outfit’s opulence, while a layered ghaghra lent depth and movement. The Noor collection traced the transformation of a shy girl into a radiant bride, brought alive through rich silks, Jadau jewellery, and heritage craftsmanship.

Vaani Kapoor
Vaani Kapoor turned showstopper for Mahima Mahajan’s FANAH Resort collection, wearing a flowing floral lehenga with a corset blouse — a poetic mix of softness and structure. Inspired by the Sufi concept of fanā (self-annihilation in divine love), the ensemble featured delicate hand embellishments in pastel and jewel tones on silks and organzas. “It channels feminine energy and is something every girl would want in her wardrobe,” Vaani told indianexpress.com.
Vishal Jethwa
Homebound actor Vishal Jethwa walked for Jigar & Nikita’s 11°E collection in a tailored white sherwani paired with slim trousers and a textured dupatta. The collection explored themes of awakening and intuition, blending intricate embroidery and vibrant hues with spiritual symbolism. Vishal’s poised walk and confident demeanour brought the look to life.
Sahher Bambba
Actor Sahher Bambba, who will soon be seen in Netflix’s B**ds of Bollywood, made a statement in Richa Khemka’s Vantage collection. Her white bodycon dress paired with a draped black skirt embodied the collection’s exploration of duality — sea and sky, stillness and movement. The look combined rich velvets, sheer organza, metallic fabrics, and intricate bead and pearl embroidery for a bold yet balanced finish.
